I had the pleasure of putting together the decorations and photo booth for my ten year class reunion this past weekend. I was ecstatic when the lovely ladies of the planning committee asked me to help because I love any excuse to get crafty. The best thing about this event was the challenge. My goal was to be inventive, create unique touches and add a lil fun & excitement into this special night while keeping within a very tight budget. With that goal in mind, I was up for the challenge.

I found the frame above at Michaels for $1/each. I bought five frames and spray painted them with chalk paint that I had on hand to help display our fun hashtags that we used throughout the evening. I also printed simple card stock signs for "reminders" & "instructions" during the night.
Another perk of being a bargain hunter, you have a plethora of fun items in your "secret" storage closet. The chalkboards worked amazingly for the photo booth and the arrows & easels were wonderful for signage.
This was by far my favorite craft for this event! Rhinelander Brewing Company has the cutest little glass beer bottles called "shorties" and I dressed them up with a lil chalkboard paint and some flowers I had on hand.
The final craft to tackle was the photo booth. This was very simple, but the trick was in attaching them to the wall without chipping the paint. I bought your basic silver fringe, super glued them to a yardstick and then attached them to the wall using Command velcro strips. It was easy peasy! I also attached an inexpensive plastic black table cloth to the wall to hide the wall color and create depth.
